Every start-up can be great. All it takes is to follow five commandments for success - the unbreakable rules of developing a start-up.
First - the pre-incubation. Is my idea good? What is it missing? Who can help me to verify its market potential and move it from the realm of dreams to the realm of concrete action planning and acquiring necessary resources?
Secondly - marketing and sales. Starting from the first day sales and marketing must be the main purpose and goal of any action taken. Everything must start with marketing and end with sales. Product or service is only a means to an end. Sale are the goal because they drive revenues which drive growth. Growth of the company and people.
Third - the team. People create value, build the business step by step, establish relations. Whom and at what stage to recruit, how to reward and motivate? It's great art, but also a set of skills that can be taught and learned.

New Connect Club are periodic, evening, networking events, in a West-Cost atmosphere. First NCClub event took place on April 28th at the Warsaw Stock Exchange
Warsaw Stock Exchange and MCI Management SA fund have granted their patronage to conferences "TMT Executives Seminar", which are organized by New Europe Events. In 2008 there are 5 events already scheduled to be held in Warsaw, Kiev and Bucharest. The purpose of this project is to attract companies from Central and Eastern Europe, which would be interested in acquiring financing for their development.
As a result of launching 'NewConnect' alternative trading system - a platform for financing innovative companies, we have decided to grant a Platinum patronage for "TMT Executive Seminars". In our opinion these conferences are geared to widening knowledge on financing and development opportunities for technology companies, which have great potential for growth - said Ludwik Sobolewski, President of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
